Zhenia Kazankina

Zhenia Kazankina is a writer/director whose work revolves around issues of self-perception, coming-of-age, absurdity and dream. She is a Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) graduate (2019). Her short exercise-films have played at international festivals and have received several awards. Her graduation project ‘RIO’ was selected to Oscar and BAFTA -qualified film festivals. Currently, she works as a writer/director/editor on commercials, music videos and short films. Worked with such clients as Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Puma, Ozon, Yandex.Go, Aviapark and more.
