Dan started his career in IT, earning a Master’s degree and working inside large corporations, including the design process of Lakhta Center—the tallest building in Europe. This experience gave him a strong understanding of client needs, complex workflows, and the importance of deadlines and accountability.
He later chose filmmaking as a conscious career path in Saint Petersburg. Dan studied cinematography at the Saint Petersburg School of New Cinema and gained acting experience in student theatre, which helped him develop a strong sense of performance and clear communication with actors. Over time, his focus shifted from visual execution to storytelling and directing.
Today, Dan is a director who creates clear, visually precise stories that work for brands. He is involved at every stage of production, speaks the client’s language, and builds strong collaboration with teams. His portfolio includes projects for LG, Burger King, Lay’s, L’Oréal, Tochka Bank, Samokat, Vivienne Sabo, and others, as well as awards from international festivals such as PHNX, Epica, Ad Black Sea, Red Jolbors, and TAF. Dan continues to grow, actively using AI tools and exploring new approaches to directing.
